Are the headpieces heavy?

No. Our headpieces weigh between 14 g and 48 g; the exact weight is on each product page. Pieces over about 35 g sit on a headband, which spreads the weight, so you can wear them for a whole day.

What are they made of?

Cast acrylic (PMMA) planes 2–3 mm thick, stainless steel wire with steel bead ends, and for some pieces stiffened polyester satin or crepe over a buckram base. We don’t use feathers, fur or other animal materials. Every product page lists the materials of that piece.

Can I choose between a headband and a comb?

Where a piece works on both, you choose the base on the product page. Larger pieces come on a headband only, the smallest on a clip. See How to wear for how each base is put on.

Which side should I wear it on?

Traditionally the right side, just above the temple, tilted slightly forward. In practice, wear it on the side opposite your parting or the side you’ll be photographed from.

How do I choose a glove size?

Measure around your hand at the knuckles, without the thumb. S fits 17–18 cm, M 19–20 cm, L 21–22 cm. The satin stretches; if you’re between sizes, choose the smaller one for a smooth fit.

What is an attendance list?

A look for a particular occasion: a headpiece, an evening bag and a pair of gloves that share the TERRUVO Arc, sometimes with a brooch or comb. You tick the pieces you want and add them to your bag in one go. Each piece is a separate item at its own price; there is no bundle discount.

Which currencies can I pay in?

US dollars, euros, pounds sterling, Danish kroner and Swedish kronor. Choose your currency in the menu; prices, your bag and checkout switch to it, and you pay exactly the amount shown, in that currency. The currency code is shown next to every price.

Where do you deliver and how long does it take?

To the UK, the EU countries on our Shipping page and the United States. We dispatch within 1–3 business days; delivery takes 2–10 business days after dispatch depending on the destination.

Can I return a piece?

Yes. You can return unworn pieces within 30 days of delivery, and EU and UK consumers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal. See Returns & refunds, or withdraw online with Withdraw from contract here.

Is my payment secure?

The whole site runs over HTTPS. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider, which is PCI DSS compliant, and never reach or are stored on our servers.

Are these suitable for children?

No. They are accessories for adults and contain small parts (steel beads, clips, studs) and sharp brooch pins. Keep them away from children under 36 months.
